By installing the Private Newsletter Chrome extension or using any part of our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Who we are
Private Newsletter ("we", "us", "our") is a service that collects article links you save while browsing and sends you a weekly digest email with AI-generated summaries. Our website is privatenewsletter.cc.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By using Private Newsletter, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for any activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your account credentials with others.
4. What we collect
The extension collects URLs of pages you explicitly save while browsing. We use these URLs to generate your weekly digest. We do not collect browsing history beyond the links you actively save.
5. User license grant
By saving a page, you grant Private Newsletter a limited, non-exclusive license to fetch, process, and summarize that page's content solely for the purpose of generating your personal digest. This license is revocable at any time by deleting your account.
6. AI processing
We use third-party AI services to generate summaries of your saved pages. Page content is transmitted to these providers solely for the purpose of summarization and digest creation. We do not sell or otherwise share your content with third parties for their own purposes. By using the service, you acknowledge and consent to this processing.
7. Third-party content
We do not claim ownership of any third-party content fetched at your request. AI-generated summaries are derived works created for your personal use only. You agree not to redistribute summaries in a way that substitutes for or competes with the original content.
8. Acceptable use
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any page for processing. You must not save pages containing confidential, proprietary, or unlawfully obtained content. We process pages at your direction and accept no liability for copyright or other legal claims arising from content you submit.
You also agree not to:
- Use the service to save or process content you do not have the right to access.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our backend systems.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
9. Subscription and billing
We offer a free tier and a paid Pro plan. Paid subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you agree to their terms in addition to ours. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

11. Service availability
We aim to keep Private Newsletter running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.
12. Intellectual property
All content, design, and code that makes up Private Newsletter is owned by us or our licensors. The AI-generated summaries in your digest are provided for personal use only.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Private Newsletter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
